She has always and will always be my favorite author! When I saw that her books had finally been transcribed for my Kindle e-reader, I immediately purchased ALL of them! However, there are a few issues I want to address regarding the transcribers and those who should be proofreading their work before selling them to us! I was very disappointed to find that when I opened the first download of "Whitney, my love"...it didn't contain the actual ending! I had to purchase another download to get the "real" ending! I paid the publisher's price for all her books, but I didn't expect her work to be so "disrespected" just to make a sale. Grammatical errors and such should have been corrected before listing it for sale. I have noticed other famous authors work treated in the same manner. Will someone please do something about this? As for the review of this book? She will always, always captures my heart! It's too bad "Waterfall" never became a reality, I would've loved that one too! My fav authors are "timeless"...thank you for giving me back, my ❤️.

Love this entire series from Judith McNaught. I have two copies so I can read them on my or hardback. I've read them all several times!
Judith McNaught is and always has been my favorite author. I've read every one of her books at least a dozen times each over the years. Her stories are as good today as they were in the 80's and 90's. I've missed her writing new stories over the years and have wondered where she is. I'm so happy that her books are finally available on kindle!
I have read all of this author's books. She is an outstanding writer. Her stories are deep and meaningful. Her characters are since and believable. Glad she's writing again. She gives you a complete story with no loose ends.
This author has always been a favorite of mine. A gallant knight gets a second chance at a dream and a damsel in distress lucks out---- all this in a contemporary setting. Love isn't hard to find if you really look for it! Great read.
After a brilliant performance in her new Braodway play Leigh Kendall heads for her husband's new upstate retreat but instead wakes up in a hospital room seriously injured and unable to locate her husband, architect Logan Manning. Distraught, Leigh turns to the police only to find herself under suspicion and the department's efforts less than adequate. Tenacious detective Malcolm Shrader and novice detective Sam(antha) Littleton are not happy to be assigned to this case. They assure Leigh that Logan is probably temporarily trapped somewhere due to the after effects of the huge blizzard that contributed to Leigh's accident. It is not until Michael Valente, a recent business acquaintance of her missing husband with suspected criminal ties, shows an unusual interest in Leigh that the police begin to intensively investigate. Logan's frozen body is finally found with what at first appears to be a self inflicted bullet wound. The medical examiner quickly determines that Logan was murdered and the investigators focus on Leigh and Valente, who seems to be watching over Leigh. The investigation and the romances wind to an exciting conclusion.
McNaught's superb writing skills and well drawn characters and plot make this a book you will not want to miss.
I think it's been like over 10 years waiting for a new release and I have to say that after all that time I was hesitant to purchase. But I am so glad that I did. Judith McNaught definitely still has it. I really enjoyed her book, it was reminiscent of Paradise in my opinion. I normally don't like to much side chatter from people that aren't the main characters, but she did it wonderfully. I really enjoyed the perspective of Sam and MAC, and I really enjoyed the main characters. The only complaint I had was that I didn't feel the stalker added anything to the plot and it was almost like an afterthought to get that resolved. Other than that, the entire book was entertaining, I finished it in a few days and I really hope that this is not the last of Ms. McNaught.
I have read most of the McNaughton books (actually I listen on talking books) and liked this one more than many others. The hero
MICHAEL VALENTE was a man I fell in love with instantly, even before I knew he was a good guy. He was a real hero and I also liked his lady love L EIGH , and not just because we share a name. She was just a strong woman and her husband done her wrong. Glad to see him go. . would like to see more of them. Would also love to be able to get on her site but impossible if you name a character in one of her novels. I am 90 and lucky to be able to remember my own name. But I know what I like and this is an author I love. leigh
